New Gull Force 10 Premium Biofuel Discounted By 5 Cents A Litre For 24 Hours
Auckland, 9 August 2007 – Gull New Zealand says that it is so pleased with the positive response by motorists in taking up its new Gull Force 10 premium biofuel that was launched by the Prime Minister as the country’s very first biofuel that it is offering a 5 cent per litre discount for Thursday and Friday only.
Gull continues to provide the full range of fuel options at its sites including standard 91 and Diesel.
Gull Force 10 is currently available in three sites including Greville Road Albany; New North Road Kingsland and Rosscommon Road, Wiri. Gull New Zealand expects to roll this out to other service stations over the next 4-6 months.
Dave Bodger, the General Manager of Gull New Zealand says that Gull Force 10 delivers higher performance and a cleaner engine as well as being very good for the environment with much lower emissions.
“Since I’ve been using Gull Force 10, I’ve driven a few hundred kilometres and already noticed that apart from more power I’m going significantly further on a tank than I used to. Not surprisingly this is also what Gull’s customers are saying!” says Bodger.
Bodger also says that Gull is delighted that the Government, Energy Efficiency Conservation Agency (EECA), the Independent Motor Vehicles Dealers Association (IMVDA) and the Automobile Association (AA) together with five of New Zealand’s most respected car companies (Honda, Ford, Holden, Volkswagen, and Hyundai) have all publicly endorsed Gull Force 10.
“The support and validation of Gull Force 10 has been overwhelming but at the end of the day our customers are most important to us, and we are also pleased that they are enjoying better motoring with all the benefits that Gull Force 10 delivers. Taking 5 cents a litre off the price is our way of saying thank you to everyone for their support. ”
Gull Force 10 is a premium 98 Octane fuel with a blend of 10 percent bioethanol sourced from Fonterra so is a natural by-product of the New Zealand dairy industry.
