Hospitality Awards finalists announced
53 finalists have been named in the 2007 Hospitality Association of New Zealand's Awards for Excellence.
Now in its 10th year, the Awards scheme for HANZ members covers 16 categories, ranging from "Excellence in Customer Service" to "Best Sports Bar". Finalists and winners receive display plaques and trophies announcing their success. Chief Executive of HANZ, Bruce Robertson, says that these are always prominently and proudly displayed, confirming to patrons the high standard of the establishment.
This year's finalists range from sophisticated big city bars and restaurants to isolated country pubs.
Winners will be announced at the Association's Awards for Excellence dinner in Wellington on 18 September, as part of a three day conference and hospitality showcase being held at Wellington's Town Hall.
