This year Dad can say goodbye to his annual gift of socks – Air New Zealand is giving him something to really celebrate for Father’s Day!

Air New Zealand will be going large all week on grabaseat, with more spaces and more places than ever before available online at airnewzealand.co.nz

The Father’s Day celebrations kicked off yesterday with ludicrously low deals including Auckland-Tonga for $99 one way and Wellington-Melbourne for $139 one way.

The hot deals will keep appearing until Saturday 1 September, says Air New Zealand’s General Manager Internet Nicki Garraway.

“Air New Zealand’s Mother’s Day offer was so popular it seemed only right we gave Kiwis the opportunity to do something different for Dad this year too,” she says.

“During the week Air New Zealand will be delighting customers with some surprises in destinations, prices and seat availability with grabaseat.”

Many savvy customers already visit the grabaseat site daily, but Ms Garraway suggests that this week they get online early and check frequently to ensure they get a gift that doesn’t disappoint Dad.

Grabaseat’s first birthday celebration in July saw Air New Zealand offering $1 fares to domestic destinations, creating a sales frenzy and helping push online sales over the $1 billion mark for the first time within a financial year.
