4 September 2007 G2 Wows GE Money to win advertising contract
GE Money is delighted to announce
G2, New Zealand’s leading edge advertising agency, as
their new creative agency.
GE Money New Zealand, the local arm of global giant GE (General Electric), invited submissions from a range of local agencies for its creative account.
Paul Head, marketing leader of GE Money said of the process: “It was a tough selection process but we make no apologies for being thorough."
"We expect world-beating performances from ourselves and our partners. Our customers deserve no less," said Paul.
G2 is known for combining the best of traditional mass marketing, direct response and interactive disciplines, and it was these fundamentals, combined with strong strategic leadership that secured the agency’s selection for the account.
“Not only did G2 measure up to our rigorous performance criteria, they also demonstrated an outstanding strategic grasp of the opportunities we have ahead of us and made strong recommendations that meet our needs," Paul said.
"The finance industry in New Zealand is at a real turning point where only the strong will survive – so it's very important that NZ consumers get the right messages about the strength of GE Money with our AAA rating and our commitment to growth in the region. Having the right agency is critical to getting this message across," said Paul.
Sarah Norrie, Managing Director of G2 said, “GE and GE Money are one of the world’s most innovative and socially responsible corporations with an energetic and intelligent New Zealand marketing team."
"We put every resource we had into wowing the GE Money team and we are very happy to be working with them at such an exciting time in their development," Norrie said.
