ChildFund New Zealand Scoops Contact Centre Award
For the first time ever, a not-for-profit organisation has received a leading award at the CRM Contact Centre Awards, heading off other businesses in the competitive call centre environment. ChildFund New Zealand scooped the General Services category of the CRM Contact Centre Awards - placing its small but motivated team at the top of their game.
The CRM Contact Centre Awards provide an annual measure of how well New Zealand contact centres are responding to customer enquiries over the telephone and internet. Entrants are measured on the quality of their service and benchmarked against other organisations.
ChildFund National Director Paul Brown says, "This is the first time we have participated in the awards and it's a huge thrill to be recognised for providing best in class customer service.
It's great to punch above our weight and be as competitive as other businesses and corporates in our category. More than 24,000 New Zealander's sponsor children through ChildFund and we also administer a number of emergency appeals and special fundraising projects which all need the support of a professional and dedicated contact centre team."
"This award is a credit to our Sponsor Services Manager, Kathrine Seavill, who has instilled a real passion and drive in our team. It's particularly pleasing to see our Sponsors Services Team centre measure up so well against commercial organisations. The win proves that not-for-profit doesn't mean not for effectiveness."
The CRM Contact Centre Awards process includes a series of mystery telephone calls, and email requests to each participating contact centre over a period of six weeks using a variety of pre-determined scenarios designed to evaluate the quality of the service across 16 industry sectors.
