Sopranos star Sigler spoiled by luxury pampering

Media release – September 19, 2007

Award winning Sopranos star Sigler spoiled by luxury pampering company

Award winning Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler has been spoiled in Queenstown by leading luxury pamper company Touch of spice.

Sigler, who stars as Meadow Soprano in the hit tv series, was in Queenstown all last week.

``We get a lot of VIPs who want their trip organised. We do everything for them,’’ Touch of Spice director Jacqui Spice said today.

``Jamie-Lynn was great. She got straight off a plane from Los Angeles and did a bungy jump. We had a special day seeing the final of the Sopranos and it was exciting that we had just met Jamie-Lynn.’’

``We were her personal concierge for the whole week. We arranged her itinerary, accommodation at the Heritage villas. We hosted her, got her groceries, drover her where ever she wanted, took her to lunch, wine houses, horse riding, luging, helicopter riding, jetboating and of course she was a judge at the 42 below cocktail event.

``But we get VIPs all the time. We had the Adobe Micro Media head the other day. We are on call 24/7 for our clients. We will be busy during the NZ Golf Open soon.’’

Spice says her company helps affluent visitors see Queenstown and the Wakatipu Basin just like a local. They make it easy for them.

Touch of Spice has been laying out the red carpet for wealthy people since 2005. The business is booming, Spice said.

They have organised elopements, marriage proposals, honeymoon nights, VIP visits, $100,000 plus weddings, private chefs, parties, wine tastings, pony hire – you name it, they do it.

They run errands around town, organise in-house provisions, providing catering, buying late gifts, and arrange luxury transport.

``We scatter rose petals through homes or apartments and light candles for romantic couples. They call in chefs. Nothing is impossible for them.
