Strong Passenger Growth Recorded

Christchurch International Airport experienced strong passenger growth during September, with total passenger movements recording a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.

International passenger movements were up 10% on the previous record set in September 2006 and were at a record high for the fifth consecutive month.

Domestic passenger growth also continued, with a 1.2% increase on the same month last year.
