Accor is
pleased to announce the following appointments in New
Zealand:
Wellington:
Zac Lumsden -
Operations Manager at Novotel Capital
Wellington. Zac has worked in the hospitality industry
for many years, with extensive experience especially in Food
& Beverage. He was most recently Food & Beverage Manager at
Novotel Palmerston North.
Trish Ingram - Business Development Manager for Accor’s Wellington Hotels. Trish has spent 10 years in the tourism industry, primarily in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Julie Lumsden - Marketing Coordinator for
Accor’s Wellington Hotels. Also with vast experience
in the hospitality industry, Julie has worked in several
hotels in New Zealand and Australia. She most recently held
the role of Business Development Executive at Novotel
Palmerston North.
Hotel Ibis Tainui
Hamilton appointments (open 10 December):
Stephen
Roe - Head Chef at Hotel Ibis Tainui Hamilton;
he will be responsible for managing the kitchen team.
His first challenge will be recruiting his team and then
beginning the menu design process before the hotel opens on
the 10th of December. Stephen has been with Accor for nearly
eight years, most recently as Executive Sous Chef at Novotel
Tainui Hamilton.
Johannah Redhead - Senior Assistant Manager – Rooms at Hotel Ibis Tainui Hamilton. Johannah joined Accor in 2001, and has held various positions in Australia and New Zealand, most recently as Assistant Manager at Novotel Tainui Hamilton.
Russell Whale - Senior Assistant Manager - Food and Beverage at Hotel Ibis Tainui Hamilton. Russell has an impressive history in Food and Beverage, including positions as Food and Beverage Manager and Camp Manager at the Tala Private Game Reserve in South Africa and Senior Branch Manager for Wimpy Harrismith for two years, where he was responsible for the daily operation of the 260 seat restaurant and takeaway store.
