Mike Pero Mortgages Appoints New Chief Executive

Sandra Pigram has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand’s largest mortgage broking company, Mike Pero Mortgages.

Sandra says she is looking forward to the challenge of her new position.

“I see my role as focusing on new and innovative ways to provide value to Mike Pero Mortgages’ customers and to help our 70 or so brokers grow and develop their businesses,” says Sandra Pigram.

Sandra has 20 years experience in the financial services industry in both Australia and New Zealand where she has experience in senior executive roles in sales and marketing for GE Capital, Halifax Bank of Scotland, Australian Mortgage Securities, and most recently, Property Finance.

“My passion is sales distribution and marketing but I really thrive on beating the competition.

“Mike Pero Mortgages is by far the market leader in terms of market share and is the most trusted and I will continue to focus on systems and initiatives to ensure we continue to provide the best in customer service.”

Sandra will be taking over from Jeff Staniland who will be leaving at the end of November to pursue new challenges.

Jeff Staniland has been the Chief Executive Officer for the past four years John Callaghan, Mike Pero Mortgages Board Director, says Jeff has contributed significantly to the growth of the company.

“Jeff has overseen a raft of new regional franchisees, the listing of the company, he’s been through three takeovers, run four company conferences, attended numerous business meetings around the country and got to know everybody who works for Mike Pero Mortgages. He’s brought a relaxed and friendly manner to his role and he will be missed by all of us,” says John Callaghan.
