Santa Goes South For Christchurch’s Coolest Christmas Party

Santa normally heads North for Christmas, but this year he’s coming South on Friday 14 December - because he’s heard that the coolest Christmas Party is going to hit Christchurch! Vbase, Christchurch’s leading venue management company, is hosting one of the biggest Christmas parties this city has seen. The Christchurch Convention Centre will be transformed into The South Pole for a night of fun and frivolity.

“We’re putting on a party like no other, designed for small to medium businesses,” says Janelle Frost, Vbase Business Development Manager, Christchurch and South Island. “It’s a great way to reward staff. Companies can simply book a table for the team and sit back to enjoy a really special Christmas event.” The party will be totally themed, with the main hall of the Convention Centre turned into the South Pole for the night.

“Think Antarctica, think ice,” says Janelle Frost. “We will have penguins and icebergs throughout the venue. It really is going to be the perfect way to celebrate Christmas with workmates, without all the stress of having to organise your own party.” Janelle Frost says for small businesses it is the ideal Christmas function. It is more exciting and festive than the ‘run of the mill’ Christmas party, extremely cost effective and businesses don’t need to worry about hiring a venue or organising the entertainment … it is all done for them!

“It’s going to be a very social occasion with the added bonus of meeting new people.” Comedian Patrick Duffy will be the MC for the evening and there will be ‘live’ music from ‘Mista Meena’.

“It really is going to be the perfect way to celebrate Christmas. There will be a sumptuous three-course meal with exceptional live entertainment, all under one roof,” says Janelle Frost. -Pre-dinner drinks in the foyer between 6.30 and 7.00pm

-Dinner and entertainment from 7.00pm until midnight

-Fancy dress or dress to chill (smart casual)

-Cost is $75.00 per person, including GST. This includes a three-course meal, MC and comedian, Patrick Duffy, plus live music from ‘Mister Meena’
