Saatchi & Saatchi win Hurricanes

Saatchi & Saatchi has won Wellington Rugby Ltd’s Hurricanes campaign following a closed tender. The business includes all print, radio and media.

Chelli Rimer, Hurricanes Brand Manager, says “We were impressed with Saatchis understanding of our business needs and most of all with their strategic and creative approach. We are looking to push things a little this season and the change of agency is one reflection of this”.

Cameron Harland, General Manager of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington says the agency is thrilled to have won the Hurricanes account.

“We’re passionate about rugby and huge Hurricanes supporters. They play exciting and enthralling rugby and have some of the most loyal fans in the country. They’re a great team and wonderful ambassadors for the city and the region. As enthusiastic supporters of Wellington business and creative endeavours, the Hurricanes are a brilliant win for us.”

Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington Creative Director Tim Hall agrees that the Hurricanes are a great creative opportunity for the agency. “The Hurricanes are an exciting team and brand, and we’re looking forward to taking the campaign to new levels of excitement.”
