Hospitality Association Australasian
Winner
The Hospitality Association of New Zealand
was announced the winner of the Project of the Year Award at
the inaugural Australasian Not for Profit Network Awards,
held at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast
recently.
The project entered was the HANZ Training Passport, run in partnership with the Hospitality Standards Institute. The HANZ Training Passport aims to raise the standards of compliance and performance in the areas of responsible service of alcohol, food safety and customer service. The HANZ Training Passport is supported by the New Zealand Police, New Zealand Food Safety Authority, ACC and the New Zealand Institute of Liquor Licensing Inspectors.
The Not for Profit Network Awards recognise the efforts of non-profit organisations, people and projects who are achieving outstanding work with the Australian and New Zealand sectors.
The award was accepted by Raewyn Bleakley, National Operations Manager for the Hospitality Association.
HANZ CEO Bruce Robertson said “The Association is delighted to have been named the inaugural winner for the Australasian Award for a project that delivers so many positive outcomes for members and the hospitality industry.”
