Hot ‘2 for 1’ Holiday Deal on Offer

PRESS RELEASE

Hot ‘2 for 1’ Holiday Deal on Offer for New Caledonia

Auckland, 11 January 2008: – New Caledonia launches a hot South Pacific holiday deal on Monday – two people can holiday for the price of one starting at just $1,199 for 4 nights.

“The offer includes return airfares, transfers and accommodation for two people and would have to be the best holiday deal in the market. It’s a great way to start 2008,” says Simon Duffy, Tourism New Caledonia New Zealand Manager.

New Caledonia offered a similar deal a couple of times during 2007 with huge success. “This time we’ve got even more hotels to choose from at even better prices, which will make the offer even more attractive to New Zealanders,” Simon says.

Package prices start at $1,199 for 4 nights at the NC Nouvata Park Hotel in Noumea and customers can extend their trip to 7 nights for just another $300. Other hotels available are Le Surf Hotel, Ramada Plaza and La Promenade. There are also deals for Oure Isle of Pines and Le Meridien on the Isle of Pines. Prices at the various hotels start at $1,239 for 4 nights and $1,499 for 7 nights.

“The deal is only on sale from January 14 to 22 so customers will have to get their skates on and get into their nearest travel agent to book pretty quickly,” Simon says. The travel period is between February 24 and April 9 and April 30 to May 21 2008. Other conditions apply.

“New Caledonia is only a 2½ hour flight away and is New Zealand’s closest South Pacific neighbour. Its point of difference is the charming French culture and cuisine which makes it quite a special holiday destination,”Simon says.

The number of New Zealanders visiting New Caledonia is steadily on the increase with its close proximity to New Zealand, French culture and cuisine, tropical climate and white sand beaches all very appealing.

“Kiwis love their South Pacific neighbours and we are lucky to have such a fabulous destination right on our doorstep,”Simon says. “This current deal is the first of a number that will be on offer during 2008 as we continue to attract even more New Zealanders to New Caledonia’s shores.”
