Sophie Falkiner Named New Ambassador for AMP
Capital Shopping Centres
New Zealanders will soon be seeing a lot of popular Australian media personality and TV presenter Sophie Falkiner, who is to become the new ambassador for AMP Capital Shopping Centres which includes Botany Town Centre (East Auckland), LynnMall Shopping Centre (West Auckland), Bayfair Shopping Centre (Tauranga) and The Palms Shopping Centre (Christchurch).
Best known as the presenter of some of our Downunder cousin’s most popular television programmes, including Wheel of Fortune, The Great Outdoors and Confidential, Sophie will soon be as familiar to shoppers at AMP Capital Shopping Centres as she is across the Tasman.
Senior Centre Manager, Jennifer Manning said, “We are excited about Sophie being named ambassador as her down-to-earth, personable attitude, coupled with her sense of fashion and style, make her a great fit for our centres. Being a working Mum with so much to juggle, I am sure so many of our customers can relate to her.
“She makes looking good so easy but with her low-key, everyday lifestyle, can offer her opinions on a range of topics, from fashion for all occasions to family and kids, food and leisure, and home and lifestyle. As the mum of a little girl, Sophie faces the same challenge we all do…finding and maintaining a balanced life! We welcome Sophie and believe she will inspire and connect with our customers.”
Sophie’s role at AMP Capital Shopping Centres will involve inspiring the centre’s winter and summer fashion campaigns, hosting events, making public appearances and offering lifestyle and fashion tips throughout key seasons.
