Barfoot & Thompson salutes
its ‘Top 25’
Barfoot & Thompson has today announced its ‘Top 25’ salespeople for 2007/8 with Johnson Chen from the company’s City branch taking the coveted number one spot for the second year in a row.
All 25 were today acknowledged in front of their peers at the company’s annual convention at Sky City in Auckland, attended by more than 1,700 salespeople, managers, support staff and members of the New Zealand Realtor’s Network.
Managing Director Peter Thompson said Johnson is a great example of the sort of passion, dedication and commitment it takes to reach the top in real estate. “Johnson has an outstanding work ethic. He manages a large number of residential and rural sales, is an active member of Auckland’s Chinese community and an enthusiastic advocate of Barfoot & Thompson.”
John McDonald from the Whangaparaoa branch ended the financial year in second position and took the Commercial Salesperson of the Year title. Duncan Wu from the Epsom branch was third. Placings are based on the total value of sales achieved in the 12 months to March 2008.
Meanwhile a Pukekohe based real estate novice has made a stunning entrance into the company’s elite Top 25 list this year. In just his first full year in the industry Rookie of the Year Ian Croft has taken the Rural Salesperson of the Year title and ranks number one for the Pukekohe branch.
Mr Thompson says, “This is a truly outstanding achievement. Ian’s background in produce exporting meant he came to real estate with a strong background in negotiation. His Branch Manager says he’s skilled at bringing parties to agreement in order to broker a deal. He’s hard working, down to earth and has a common sense approach.”
