Jade wins further Development Contract with potential value of $20 million
Two years ago Jade Software Corporation Limited (Jade) sold its health IT business to UK health software and related services supplier Ascribe PLC in a transaction which netted millions of dollars from the sale of Intellectual Property Rights and future services with Jade.
Under the terms of that agreement, Jade was to provide software development and support services to Ascribe until April 2008. Ascribe in turn assumed ownership of the software and responsibility for marketing and business development, and health customer relationship management.
In a show of continuing commitment and confidence in the JADE applications, Jade has announced that, with effect from 1 May 2008, Ascribe had entered into a multi year agreement to buy application development and support services worth around $4 million per annum.
The contract is likely to run for at least five years according to Jade’s Managing Director Dr. Rod Carr.
