$60 million given away in AA Rewards over 10 Years
AA Rewards is celebrating its 10th birthday this month, having delivered over $60 million in benefits directly to AA Members to date.
AA Rewards is used by 85 per cent of the AA's personal Members making it one of New Zealand's highest activity loyalty programmes. The AA has over 1.25 million Members, accounting for more than 40% of New Zealand motorists.
"It is fantastic that so many AA Members have benefited from AA Rewards" says Dougal Swift, AA General Manager Membership and Brand.
"Our Members like the fact that our Points don't expire and that they can be used for meaningful rewards such as discounts on AA Membership, BP fuel or to buy virtually anything from our 40 programme Partners."
AA Rewards launched in 1998 with four founding partners: BP, Budget Rent a Car, Firestone and Repco, and has grown to over 40 partners today with most major consumer goods categories covered.
"We look forward to continuing to develop the programme to benefit our members and partners alike. Holden and Superfurn have joined recently and we expect to announce additional Partners later this year," says Mr Swift.
As part of the 10th birthday celebrations AA Rewards is giving away 840 birthday presents between Monday 16 June and Sunday 13 July. Members can swipe their AA Membership card at any of the 2000 Partner outlets to be in to win daily prizes, including 10 TomTom in-car navigation units, 10 $100 BP petrol vouchers and 10 gifts of 1000 AA Reward Points.
