Shell drops diesel by six cents per litre

ATTENTION NEWS ROOMS

• Shell has dropped the price of diesel by 6 cents a litre to $165.9, effective from 12noon today.

• This follows on from last week's price drops across the board, making all Shell fuels priced as:
- Ultra 91 = 199.9 (unchanged)
- V - Power = 204.9 (unchanged)
- Diesel = 165.9 (down 6cpl)

• The drop in price is primarily due to the falling product cost.

• This is the sixth consecutive decrease in fuel prices, all led by Shell since July 17.

• Shell is committed to reviewing its prices daily. We recognise that fuel prices have been hurting motorists and we always look to pass on any savings we can to our customers.
