Spoilt for Choice at Turners

Turners Auctions is offering further examples of the world’s most desirable super cars to the cashed-up amongst us this Saturday, September 27 at the Turners super site in Penrose.

General Manager Marketing Todd Hunter says this is the best Turners Prestige Auction line up yet with 30 vehicles totalling an estimated $3million.

One of four Porsches on offer, the GT3, is a 2007 model, 6 speed manual with just 9700kms on the clock. It sits alongside a 2007 911 Turbo Manual, both finished in snow white.

However, Penrose branch manager Paul Callister says the Porsche likely to attract the most attention is the 2003 911 Turbo Convertible. “This manual version in black with 56,000kms is being offered at no reserve. Needless to say we expect a lot of interest in this vehicle - it will sell regardless of the final bid,” he says.

This will be the third Turners Prestige Auction and Todd says there will be more to come. “We’ve had a flood of these high-end vehicles due to the current market climate, so we decided to make this a recurring event.”

Late model Prestige cars will be auctioned at 12 noon and at 2:30pm a selection of Classic and Prestige cars will go under the hammer. Highlights in the classic line up include a 16,000 mile de Tomaso Pantera and an immaculate 1957 Chev Bel Air Coupe.
