Logitech appoints new General Manager to drive continued growth in New Zealand

Auckland, New Zealand, 3 October 2008 – Logitech ANZ, leader in personal peripherals, today announced the appointment of Bryan Simpson as General Manager for New Zealand.

In his new role, Simpson will be responsible for driving the go-to-market activities for the Logitech brand in the region as well as driving continued growth through the channel and enhancing strategic partnerships.

"Logitech's business in New Zealand has shown considerable growth under Bryan as its Sales Manager" says George Saad General Manager for Australia. "We had no hesitation to promote him to the General Manager position and are excited to see Bryan take Logitech in New Zealand to a whole new level."

Simpson joined Logitech in March 2006 and played a pivotal role in developing the channels and establishing key relationships with critical partners. His in-depth understanding of the market and strategic partnerships has taken the Logitech brand to where it is today. Prior to Logitech, Simpson worked as an account manager for Flexirent in NZ.
