NZ's First Certified Professional Organiser

NZ's First Certified Professional Organiser
Wendy Davie awarded highest qualification in Organising Industry.

CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND - 15/12/2008 -

Wendy Davie from Totally Organised Limited and Author of "The Accidental Organiser" has become the first New Zealander to be awarded the designation "Certified Professional Organiser". This is an internationally recognised qualification available only to the most experienced and long serving Professional Organisers.

In order to achieve this designation Wendy has had to complete at least 1500 hours of hands on organising services (in 3 years) and sit an examination. During a recent speaking trip in Chicago, Wendy took the opportunity to sit the examination (not yet available in New Zealand).

Wendy is a pioneer in the fledgling industry of Professional Organising, having started her business in 2003 from Christchurch. Now offering services in Auckland and Christchurch.

As the President of the Australasian Association of Professional Organisers, Wendy also spends many hours mentoring and assisting new Organisers to become successful in their field.

The industry of Professional Organising is certainly a growing one. A Professional Organiser will come to your home or business and help you declutter, manage time and generally become more productive and organised.
The most important factor in using a Professional Organiser is the ability for organising skills to be transferred to the client resulting in a positive change to behavior patterns that have caused the disorganisation in the first place. It is through 1500 hours of transferring these skills to her clients that Wendy became eligible to sit the BCPO (Board of Certified Professional organizers)examination in November.

It has been an exciting year fro Wendy Davie, with this qualification and the release of her first book "The Accidental Organiser". Also she was a finalist in "The David Awards" for Small Business in the innovative business and transitional business category.

2009 is looking like another fantastic year for this entrepreneurial Businesswomen from Christchurch.
