Express Couriers CEO takes up role as new CEO of KiwiRail Group

Express Couriers today announced Jim Quinn, CEO, has resigned to take up an appointment as the CEO of KiwiRail Group effective 28th February 2009.

Express Couriers Limited is a joint venture between DHL and New Zealand Post and encompasses the brands of Pace, CourierPost, Contract Logistics and Roadstar Transport. Jim has held various positions within the New Zealand Post Group and more recently as the CEO for Express Couriers for the last four years.

“It is with mixed feelings I announce my departure from Express Couriers however I am very proud of the accomplishments of the team and to be leaving the business in a strong position,” says Quinn.

Mark Gibson, currently the General Manager of CourierPost, will become the Acting CEO of Express Couriers until a replacement is appointed.
