Senior Appointment For Public Trust
- Regional Manager, Eastern Region


David Muir has been appointed Public Trust’s Regional Manager Eastern Region based in the Hawkes Bay. Mr Muir is responsible for eight of Public Trust’s 35 customer centres from Gisborne to Rotorua and south to the Hutt Valley. He was previously Public Trust’s Manager of Area based in Palmerston North and Masterton.

Public Trust’s General Manager Sales & Service Alex Polaschek says, “Public Trust is pleased to announce David’s appointment. He has demonstrated a passion for motivating his staff and achieving excellent results. His experience and expertise will help enable Public Trust to continue to develop the opportunities available in the Eastern Region, and to provide quality services that meet the needs and expectations of its customers.”

Prior to joining Public Trust, Mr Muir was a regional manager for Kiwibank and New Zealand Post. He holds the New Zealand Diploma in Business and NZIM’s Diploma in Management.

Working with New Zealanders for 136 years, Public Trust is New Zealand’s largest and most enduring trustee organisation. Public Trust’s services include Wills, enduring powers of attorney, estate administration, family trusts, pre-paid funeral trusts, education and inheritance trusts, charitable trusts, savings and investments, lending and insurance.

Public Trust has 35 customer centres; 27 in the North Island, including seven in the greater Auckland region, and eight in the South Island.
