Make The Most Of Monet

Make The Most Of Monet

Make the most of Monet with an exciting new package from Wellington’s premier hotel – the Duxton Hotel Wellington.

For $195 the package - ‘Monet and More’ – includes a Deluxe room for up to two guests and tickets for two adults to see what is being touted as the exhibition of the year.

“This is the only opportunity to see this exhibition in New Zealand, so why not see it in style?” says James Cowan, the hotel’s Sales and Marketing Director “We believe we’re in the best location for visiting the exhibition, and we’ve put together a competitive package to make it easy for guests to focus on art for the weekend..”

The Duxton Hotel Wellington is situated in the heart of the Harbour Capital. It is only minutes walk from Te Papa, the venue for the exhibition; it is close to the eating and nightlife areas of Cuba and Courtenay Quarters; and is only a few minutes from Wellington’s vibrant waterfront.

The ‘Monet and the Impressionists’ exhibition is coming to Wellington, its only New Zealand stop, from 14 February to 17 May. It is a rare chance to see some of the world’s most famous and best-loved Impressionist paintings by artists including Monet, Renoir, Picasso,Degas, Sisley and Cezanne.

But art is not the only reason to stay at the Duxton. Whether you’re budget-conscious, a shopaholic or in a romantic mood, there are a dozen packages to choose from. The shopping package includes shopping vouchers and valet parking, romantic adventures include champagne, gourmet food and late checkouts and fuel packages help the budget-conscious with vouchers to help you get to the capital.
