Nokia Brings A New Era of Care to New Zealand

Nokia Brings A New Era of Care to New Zealand – Opening Care Centre in Auckland

17 Febuary 2009: Nokia is bringing a new era of customer service to New Zealand by opening two Nokia Care Centres, the first in the heart of Auckland, bringing first-class customer care direct to Kiwis.

“The new Auckland centre is part of Nokia’s multimillion dollar investment program in Care in New Zealand. We will also open a new Care Centre in Christchurch towards the middle of this year,” said Peter Thomas, Head of Customer Care for Nokia Australia & New Zealand.

“Nokia is the only mobile manufacturer to provide this level of direct customer care investment locally and this highlights our commitment to the New Zealand market,” he said.

“We can service approximately 80 per cent of all repairs on-site providing faster repair turn around times and better overall service for Nokia customers,”Thomas said.

“In addition to warranty and out-of-warranty repairs, our staff are also available to assist customers with other services such as updating software as well as helping to set up navigation services and email connectivity.

“The state-of-the-art Care Centre facility features a fully equipped technical workshop, an internet kiosk providing free internet access for customers, a full display of the latest Nokia accessories as well as comfortable customer lounge and service areas,” Thomas said.

“The new centre not only supports local consumers, it also allows us to directly support local mobile phone retailers with personal and timely service,”Thomas said.
