Club Med – So Much More Than Three Meals a Day

PRESS RELEASE

Club Med – So Much More Than Three Meals a Day

As the founder of the truly all inclusive holiday concept Club Med leads the way with its 80 resorts around the world.

“There’s a lot more to Club Med than just three meals a day.  Club Med holidays are truly all inclusive with all meals, drinks – alcoholic and non-alcoholic – activities, kids club, transfers, accommodation and evening entertainment all included in the price,” says Kaarin Gaukrodger, Club Med MarketingManager New Zealand.

“As we know it’s the small things like snacks in between meals and drinks that soon nudge up the bill when it comes time to leave, so with Club Med there’s no surprise credit card bill when you get home.”

Gaukrodger adds that the all day snacking and open bar is especially appealing for New Zealanders.  “It means that guests can enjoy relaxing with a cocktail at the bar or finish the evening with a cappuccino at no extra cost,” she says.

“The all day snacking and open bar also brings total flexibility for guests enabling them to enjoy on and off site recreational and leisure activities and a meal at a time to suit them without being restricted to set meal times.  This added value concept has been welcomed by New Zealanders and increases the overall attractiveness of Club Med as the preferred holiday destination of choice for New Zealandtravellers.”

Gaukrodger adds that the all-inclusive concept appeals to a range of Club Med guests – family, couples and conference groups.  “It is particularly appealing for conference groups who have a tight budget to meet and also for families because children can drink and eat as much as they like, when they like, again not restricted to just meal times.

“Club Med is very family friendly and recognises that children often don’t want to eat during specific meal times so it’s important to have flexibility, and we do.  As we all know, if the children are happy, everyone is happy,” she says.

Having led the way since 1950 in all inclusive holidays Club Med continues to lead by constantly enhancing its holiday offering with the likes of recently introduced Teen Passworld, room service breakfast delivered to suites and accommodation enhancements.
