Southern Cross Healthcare Group Appointment
The Southern Cross Healthcare Group has appointed Victor Klap to the new role of Group Manager, Public-Private and Primary Care Partnerships.
The strategic role will explore initiatives for Southern Cross to work collaboratively with primary health providers, and with the public health system, to achieve better healthcare outcomes for New Zealanders.
Mr Klap’s former roles have included Chief Executive of the Independent Practitioners’ Association of New Zealand, Chief Executive of the Southern Regional Health Authority and Manager Funding, Health Reform Directorate in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
He has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide, a Diploma from the Australian Insurance Institute and an MBA from the University of Otago. Ends –
