Exclusive Events expands into Queenstown
One of New Zealand’s leading edge destination and event management companies has expanded into Queenstown.
Exclusive Events Director Liam Taylor has recently set up shop in the popular resort town and has big plans for developing business in the region.
Already well established in Christchurch, Mr Taylor says Exclusive Events has experienced significant growth since setting up the business in July 2007 and has similar expectations for the Queenstown market.
“The business evolved out of an outdoor adventure guiding operation I was involved with in Canterbury several years ago. We began to work with big groups who loved our unique, flexible and innovative itineraries. Word of mouth spread pretty quickly and business snowballed, so we adapted the business to cater for this growing market.”
“We now have an experienced and highly talented team of event specialists working out of Christchurch and Queenstown to deliver inspired and extraordinary experiences for the corporate, incentive and business market throughout Australasia,” he said.
Mr Taylor said the Exclusive Events team prided itself on designing every single event from scratch.
“We refuse to use templates. We’re very proud of delivering unique and contemporary events 100% of the time and this is absolutely what makes us industry leaders. It sounds almost trite to say it, but those little touches really do make the difference.”
Mr Taylor said 2009 was shaping up to be an exciting year for the company despite the current economic climate.
“We’re experiencing solid growth as more and more businesses choose Exclusive Events to organise their C&I programmes,” he said.
“We recently secured a preferred supplier contract for one of the biggest Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs) in Australia which was a significant business milestone.
“We’re now really excited about working closely with Queenstown businesses to showcase this beautiful part of New Zealand to the rest of the world.”
