A latte is never far away...
Despite the feeling of being totally cocooned in your own world on the shores of Lake Rotoiti, the current owner of 1493 State Highway 30 says a caffeine fix is always within easy reach.
“You could jump into your boat and zip across the lake to get your morning latte if you really wanted to!” he laughs, but adds that Rotorua is only 20-minutes away by car making the property ideal for either permanent living or a holiday escape.
With riparian rights and a location that most people can only dream of, properties like this tend to be very tightly held, but life takes some interesting twists and turns and so it is that a new owner is sought for this desirable home.
“Opportunities like this do not come along very often,” says Beth Millard of Bayleys Rotorua who is marketing the property with Lorraine Chapman.

“The trout fishing is superb around here,” says Beth Millard.
“There is a spawning tributary nearby and if the walls could talk I’m sure they’d tell us all about ‘the ones that got away’ - as well as tales of the trophy trout that have been landed not far from here.”
