Outward Bound Launches New Course For Couples
Outward Bound has launched a new course designed for couples aged 25 years and older who literally want to scale new heights together.
Outward Bound Marketing Manager, Greg Thomas, said the eight day course is for partners or spouses, who want to jointly set new goals, and discover more about themselves and their partners.
“This course is not romantic getaway - there are no dim lights or rose petals, but it’s set in one of the most beautiful and serene parts of New Zealand. It’s a programme designed for couples who want to share a challenging adventure together.
“The course is for couples of any age and there is no upper limit, provided people can meet the achievable fitness requirement.
“Couples will take part in a diverse range of activities from rock climbing through to sailing, tramping and kayaking.
“During the course, participants will reflect on what’s important to them as individuals and as a couple, and gain a clearer understanding and appreciation of each others capabilities, strengths and weaknesses,” Greg said. The
The course does not include any counselling services and is not intended for couples who are having difficulties.
The inaugural course kicks off in June at Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds with places available for seven couples.
