The Best In
Hawke’s Bay Hospitality Are Announced For 2009
After another huge response from the industry in the Hawke’s Bay, Finalists have been found for the Hawke’s Bay Hospitality Awards for 2009 running for its second year. Finalists were announced on Monday 20th April at a media launch with finalist voting forms being issued back out to the industry and tickets for the awards and ceremony going on sale.
Following a successful formula used in other regions around the country, the Hawke’s Bay Hospitality Awards is about honouring the heroes, the awards serve to promote excellence in hospitality and the chance for the industry to celebrate together and recognise their own. We believe that the benefits of a peer recognition awards programme that celebrates dedication and excellence would not only draw our industry closer but also raise aspirations and performance.
“With this year being no exception, we see the industry getting in behind these awards once again, recognising their own peers in an industry that continues to grow in the Hawke’s Bay region”, Jane Libby, General Manager, Food Hawke’s Bay says. “Hospo people are passionate about what they do, they are in a customer driven business constantly being monitored and analysed by the general public. These awards give them the chance to shine in their peers eyes. Finalists this year should feel honoured to have been selected by their peers”
The industry are now asked to vote for one of the four finalists in each category and the person or establishment that receives the most votes in their category will be announced as the winner at the awards ceremony held at the Century Theatre on Monday 18th May 2009.
