Offering Best Of Both Worlds With Combo Fare
Emirates will offer “the best of both worlds” with its new Europe combo fares, on sale from now until June 30.
The fare, selling for just over $6,000 return, will provide for travel each way in business class between New Zealand and Dubai and in economy class each way on the shorter leg between Dubai and Europe. It is available for travel between either Auckland or Christchurch and any one of Emirates’ 22 destinations in Europe.
Explains Emirates’ New Zealand manager, Chris Lethbridge: “We have found many customers want the extra comfort and niceties of business class on the longer stretches on their way to Europe or upon the return, but who also feel that economy class is quite adequate over a shorter distance.
“This is a fare that gives travellers the best of both worlds.”
Mr Lethbridge said that business travellers and leisure passengers who had an important engagement or another journey upon arrival, or who wanted to arrive back home in the best shape possible, appreciated flying business class at least part of the way.
“This fare gives many people the solution they are looking for. But whatever class they are travelling in, they know that Emirates has very high standards and full service, with excellent food and inflight entertainment – and, in the case of business class, more room and different seating.
“The combo provides great value for money in award-winning surroundings.”
The return Europe combo fares range from $6,068 for Istanbul to $6,306 for London, including all taxes.
The fares are valid for departures up until November 30. Various conditions apply.
Emirates flies its modern, wide-bodied jets, including the A380, four times daily from New Zealand to Dubai and beyond, via Australia.
