New KPMG Director of Restructuring & Insolvency

KPMG appoints Director of Restructuring and Insolvency Services

Shaun Adams has been appointed as Director of Restructuring and Insolvency Services within KPMG Advisory, the firm announced today.

He will be responsible for delivery of KPMG’s insolvency and restructuring services which have experienced a substantial up-swing in activity over recent months.

Russell Florence, KPMG Partner in Charge, Financial Advisory Services says:

“We are delighted that Shaun has joined us at a time when more insolvency and restructuring services are required by our clients. He brings a great skill set to our business and has built up a strong track record over more than 20 years in dealing with all forms of personal and corporate insolvency, together with turnaround and recovery assignments. It is great to have a proven insolvency specialist on board who can guide clients through what can often be a very challenging period.”

Shaun joins KPMG from BDO Spicers, where he was Principal within the Business Recovery & Insolvency team based in the firm’s CBD Auckland practice. Prior to that Shaun was a partner in a regional practice in the UK, dealing with all forms of business recovery and insolvency assignments.
