The website makes it easier for homeowners to make choices on where and how to spend their money to create sustainable and healthy homes for them and their loved ones.

The free FPB Project Space area of the website offers complete, web-based project management and communication tools that enable homeowners to effectively track their project, manage information, and communicate with trade professionals.

“The interactive FPB Project Space helps people to keep everything together in one place. It also acts as a forum, an online community, and provides relevant building advice for customers,” says Jamie. “It’s easy to use and it’s free to register.”

Once they have registered, homeowners are able to:

* Search for, research and connect with trade professionals in their area

* Publish requests for quotes from the trade professionals registered on the site and be contacted by trade professionals with quotes

* Plan, discuss, and work collaboratively with their project team through every step of the building or renovation project

* Use the site as a cost-effective communication/information sharing resource

* Easily update project-related information, keep records of document revisions, and store confidential project documents on the site for personal use

* Engage in ‘real time’ online discussions with the project team using the ‘Chat’ feature

* Visit the ‘Better Home Guide’ resource library for helpful information throughout all stages of the project.
