PAK’n SAVE Construction to start this year

PAK’n SAVE Papamoa – Construction to start this year

Foodstuffs (Auckland) Limited is pleased to confirm that it will start construction of the PAK’nSAVE in Papamoa later this year. A variation to the resource consent granted for the store was granted by the Tauranga City Council last week and planning is now underway to commence construction on the site at the corner of Domain and Gravatt Roads.

Foodstuffs (Auckland) General Manager – Property Strategy, Angela Bull says the outcome is exciting news for the residents of Papamoa, who are looking forward to PAK’nSAVE coming to their community.

“We have received a lot of support from the Papamoa community for this PAK’nSAVE,” says Angela Bull. We are very pleased to be able to confirm that we will be starting construction on the site towards the end of this year and the PAK’nSAVE will be open in the latter part of 2010. We look forward to bringing PAK’nSAVE’s policy of New Zealand’s lowest food prices to Papamoa.”

The planned PAK’nSAVE supermarket and fuel outlet will sit next to the Mitre 10 in Papamoa alongside the Fashion Island/Centamax complex.

All Foodstuffs stores are 100% New Zealand-owned and operated. Foodstuffs brands include PAK’nSAVE, New World, Four Square, Gilmours, Duffy & Finn’s and Liquorland.
