STA Travel Turns Thirty
STA Travel is celebrating the big 3-0 this month with thousands of dollars worth of travel prizes and one big question - what’s the number one travel must do that everyone should experience before they turn 30?
The world leading student and youth travel agency is calling for votes online now at statravel.co.nz, keyword ‘top 30’.
Voters can choose from a top 30 bucket list as nominated online by STA Travel fans, with every vote going in the draw to win a trip up to the value of $3,000 to their favourite top 30 destination.
‘We are really excited about finding out what our market sees as the one thing every kiwi should experience before they end their twenties,’ says STA Travel NZ General Manager Andrew Gay.
‘The typical big OE is not just focused on London anymore and our travellers’ tastes are reflecting this.’
Favorites include visiting the pyramids in Egypt, Europe by van tour, seeing the sun rise at Machu Pichu and attending well known festivals such as Oktoberfest and the Full Moon Party in Thailand’s Koh Phangan.
‘We want to share our three decades of expertise with our audience and celebrate this milestone with a fun interactive voting platform, encouraging our travellers to experience everything they can before they reach the big 3-0!,’ Mr Gay said.
Along with voting for the number one adventure, keen travellers of every age can visit any STA Travel branch throughout July to pop and win the ultimate in travel prizes.
Over $10,000 worth of STA Travel and Qantas vouchers are up for grabs, along with literally thousands of discounts on accommodation, travel insurance, tours in Europe, Africa and Australia and more!
One lucky person will also win return flights for two to tango in Argentina just by listening to ZM.
Voting closes on July 31 and the #1 Top 30 experience will be announced on 10 August.
