Microsoft Announces New Senior
Appointment
Nick Fletcher promoted to MNA
Partner Account Manager
AUCKLAND, New Zealand –
13 August 2009 – Microsoft New Zealand is pleased to
announce the promotion of Nick Fletcher to Multi National
Account (MNA) Partner Account Manager.
Microsoft New Zealand General Manager Kevin Ackhurst says Mr Fletcher’s understanding of the local partner market coupled with his significant experience in the IT industry and strong business acumen will be invaluable in the new role.
“Nick will work closely alongside our multinational hardware vendor partners, including Hewlitt Packard, IBM, Lenovo and Toshiba to ensure that the specific needs of these organisations are addressed,” says Mr Ackhurst.
Nick joined Microsoft Australia firstly in 2001 as partner account manager for their enterprise resource planning (ERP) products and in 2003 was appointed partner group manager for partner strategy and programmes. He returned to New Zealand in 2007 to take up the same role.
With varying roles with Microsoft over the past eight years, Nick is excited about the prospect of the new challenges ahead and the opportunity to strengthen Microsoft’s relationships from the grassroots up.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with all our multinational partners and looking to deliver a more integrated approach that is relevant to our New Zealanders partners,” says Nick.
