New Editor Enters Marketplace

Marketplace Media Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Bohling as Group Editor of NZ Hardware Journal, Wares NZ and NZ Outdoor Power Equipment.

Steve has extensive experience in business to business publishing in New Zealand and internationally. His accomplishments include editing a unique multi-language international consumer electronics industry publication as well as the first music / hi-fi magazine to offer consumers a free CD with every issue.

More recently Steve was Managing Editor at AGM Publishing Ltd (1993-2006) with its award winning building, architecture and design publications, and later Publisher – Custom Publishing (to 2008) at the same publishing house.

“Steve is a real catch for Marketplace Media,” says General Manager Andrea Little. “His experience in business to business publishing adds significantly to our offering and shows we are optimistic about and actively investing in the future, at a time when some other publishers are still on the back foot.”

Notes

Marketplace Media Ltd acquired NZ Hardware Journal, Wares NZ and NZ Outdoor Power Equipment in June this year from the now defunct 3Media Group and is part of the expanding Tangible Media publishing / media consortium.

Marketplace Media Sales Director Simon Little and General Manager Andrea Little are extremely well respected and have accumulated an enviable track record in their chosen markets.

Steve Bohling replaces Ellen Read who has joined National Business Review.
