Business, government leaders to turn out in force for GoGlobal

Ex New Zealand Post chief John Allen in his new role heading up the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is to join Fletcher's top man Jonathan Ling for the Go Global conference on international business in late September.

The event promises to be the most significant forum for exporters' calendar this year.

"Go Global will showcase the best of our international business models," said Phil O'Reilly, chief executive of Export New Zealand.

"The event has been designed for business people to talk directly with government about what's on the table to support business in developing their markets and earnings offshore.

"Key government ministers attending include Gerry Brownlee and Tim Groser.

"Leading business models, and the thinking behind them, will be presented to learn from, by Glidepath, Vitaco and Animation Research.

"We'll be getting the very latest economic and emerging market updates on the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia as well on Australia and the Pacific.

"September 30th in Auckland for Go Global will be the day of the year for Kiwi exporters and our other international businesses."
