The people behind the cameras have been acknowledged this afternoon at the Qantas Film and Television Awards for Craft, and TVNZ camera operators and editors have won all of the awards in the News and Current Affairs category.
The annual Qantas Film and Television Awards are being announced across this weekend with the Craft Lunch today and the Gala tomorrow night.
TVNZ won all four awards in the News and Current Affairs category. They are Best News Camera Operator, Best News Editor, Best Current Affairs Camera Operator and Best Current Affairs Editor.
“The camera operators and editors are the life blood of television and we couldn’t deliver the quality of news and current affairs we do without them,” says TVNZ’s Head of News and Current Affairs, Anthony Flannery.
“Jared, Kirsten, Chris & Will set the bench mark for craft excellence – they are consistently world class, and today’s recognition is testament to their outstanding abilities and professionalism.
