Man Auctions E-Commerce Business From $1 To Make Room For Future Family And New Family Lifestyle Business

HILLCREST, HAMILTON – 21 year old serial entrepreneur Scott Townsend is auctioning his business Just Tees on Trade Me at a $1 reserve starting bid to make room for his new family and a family-friendly lifestyle business.

Scott has listed Just Tees, his online t-shirt store, for sale on Trade Me at a starting price of just $1 for the next fourteen days. Scott Townsend said, “I need a quick sale to focus on getting ready for the baby that’s due and I’m unsure of what price to sell it for, so I thought I’d take a risk and let the market decide.”

Scott wants to put his family first so he is selling his business to free up needed time for his new family and business. “I want to make sure I’m as ready as I can be for when my son comes, Just Tees has been great fun, but my focus has changed now.” Scott said.

Scott started Just Tees in March 2008 and it has since grown from its New Zealand base to include significant sales overseas. Just Tees is an online store that sells quality t-shirts from stand-out, international brands. The business is well established with a loyal customer base. It survived the doom and gloom of the recession and is in great shape for a new owner to take over.

With Scott’s new focus on being a dad, his business interests and aspirations have moved towards his new social networking website for New Zealand parents called Babyhood. “Having two businesses is not going to cut it with his partner Natalie or his ambitions of being a great dad so Just Tees has got to go,” Scott said.

Scott’s new business is going to give him a lot more free time to spend with his young family which he is really looking forward to.
