BNZ introduces small business service

Small businesses make up over 89% of all New Zealand business. BNZ has responded to this industry segment by introducing a dedicated service offering for small business customers from 1 October.

Small business owners can now contact BNZ via more channels and for longer hours. BNZ has extended access to its small business specialists by increasing their hours of availability.

They can be contacted from 7am to 7pm weekdays and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays. They are also available face to face in over 160 BNZ stores nationwide or via email.

BNZ Head of Small Business Banking, Tony Marlow says: “We are working on making things simpler for our small business customers. We know that they are busy people so we’ve built a network of contact points for them that are more flexible and readily accessible. Now they can get on with what’s important and that’s running their business.”

Small businesses are important to New Zealand and this renewed focus is BNZ’s way of recognising that importance and making banking easier for them.
