Emirates Offers Major Global Hotel Benefit

News Release, 13 October 2009

Emirates Offers Major Global Hotel Benefit

Emirates’ business and first class customers in New Zealand are in line for a major benefit through the airline’s new global hotel offer of complimentary hotel nights in Starwood group properties.

First class travellers can enjoy a two-night complimentary stay and business class customers a one-night complimentary stay in Dubai or at select final destinations, between now and December 24. The offer is available in 69 destinations in all.

Participating hotels include the Sheraton, Westin, Four Points, W, and Le Meridien and Le Royal Meridien.

“This is a particularly attractive offer that will be of distinct benefit to New Zealand travellers,” said Emirates New Zealand manager Chris Lethbridge. “The range of hotels available adds value to the already quality Emirates premium offering onboard.”

Hotels participating in the offer include 14 in the United Arab Emirates, four in greater London and a number in countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, Greece, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Ethiopia, plus various Middle East destinations. To qualify, the traveller’s flight needs to go to or through Dubai.

Emirates flies its modern, wide-bodied jets four times daily from New Zealand to Dubai and beyond via Australia. Its network of more than 100 destinations includes 22 locations in Europe.

The free accommodation option includes single or double rooms and includes all taxes and service charges, but does not include breakfast or other meals. Bookings are subject to availability and various conditions apply.
