CTC Aviation Training Ranks 23rd in Deloitte’s 50 Fastest Growing Companies
Airline pilot training company, CTC Aviation Training, last evening was named one of New Zealand’s 50 Fastest Growing Companies in New Zealand, placing 23rd in the 2009 Deloitte Fast 50.
The company, whose New Zealand operations are based in Hamilton, was also awarded the ‘Fastest Growing Business Services Business’ Award for the Central North Island.
CEO, Ian Calvert, says the company is delighted to be recognised for its accomplishments.
“Since CTC Aviation set up our business in Hamilton in 2005, we’ve gone from strength to strength. We’ve grown our trainee numbers by around 180% during that time and secured several key airline partnerships right across the globe.
“The last two years were particularly good for us and saw us grow 235%. We have a great team of people at our Crew Training Centre in Hamilton, plus our extended global team in the UK, who deserve all the kudos for taking our business to this level,” said Mr Calvert.
In 2008, CTC Aviation trained over 200 cadets at its Crew Training Centre-Hamilton. Trainees are from New Zealand, the UK, Europe and Vietnam.
The company’s graduates go on to fly with some of the best-known airlines in the world.
Currently, CTC Aviation’s airline customers include Air New Zealand, Air Malawi, Air Seychelles, British Airways, Eagle Airways, Jet2.com, easyJet, EuroCypria, Kuwait Airways, Monarch Airlines, NetJets, OpenSkies, Jetstar Pacific, Royal Brunei Airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines, ThomsonFly, UK CAA and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
All companies in the Deloitte Fast 50 have: operating revenues of at least $250,000; operated for a minimum of three years; and New Zealand registered operations. Companies listed in the Deloitte Fast 50 are ranked by percentage revenue growth for the past three years.
