Harcourts office opened in Motueka with top team

MEDIA RELEASE

Harcourts office opened in Motueka with top team

4 November 2009: Successful multi-office Harcourts franchise Property Sales (Nelson) Real Estate Ltd has opened a branch in Motueka, and just days after setting up the phone is already running hot.

Located in the centre of town in the Decks Reserve Carpark, the new Harcourts office has been opened by Harcourts business owners Amanda James and Mike Rollo having recruited a top team to introduce Harcourts to Motueka.

Mrs James and Mr Rollo say they have been keen to open a branch in Motueka for some time as it is a logical expansion for their franchise, which already has branches in Nelson, Richmond and Golden Bay, but waited until they had secured the services of the right group of people.

“Opening an office in Motueka is something we’ve been planning for some time and it’s great to be able to take that step now that we’ve got such a strong team on board to complete the Harcourts chain in this area.”

As the pair explain, the founding team of the Harcourts Motueka office includes successful former Christchurch-based Harcourts business owner David Allen as branch manager and three experienced sales consultants who have joined Harcourts from other brands, including a top performer in the area Graham Durrant along with successful realtors Val Neil and Belinda Allen. Two well-known locals, Peter Fry and Sue Bloomfield, will be joining Harcourts Motueka once they have their real estate qualifications.

“Before we even had the signs up on our new office word had spread that the country’s leading brand was coming to Motueka and the phone has been ringing hot,” the pair say, “so people in the area obviously want to experience Harcourts’ service.”

Mrs James and Mr Rollo say Motueka offers an enviable lifestyle and climate and real estate in the area is becoming increasingly popular.

“Given this we have made the strategic decision to establish a permanent presence in Motueka and to introduce the Harcourts brand, our systems and service to sellers and buyers in the residential, lifestyle, rural and commercial sectors of the market.”

Harcourts New Zealand CEO Bryan Thomson has welcomed the establishment of a new Harcourts office in Motueka.

“It’s great to see the Harcourts group continuing to grow, particularly through expansion into new markets,” he says.

“With the leadership of Amanda and David and a top group of sales consultants I’m confident the Harcourts Motueka branch will be a success and that the service the team provides will continue to keep the phones running hot.”
