Nokia unveils the new Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230

Auckland, New Zealand – Nokia today unveiled two new stylish slider devices, the Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230.

The Nokia 6700 slide is a modern, slim line handset available in six colours – pink, red, petrol blue, aluminium, lime and purple. The handset has excellent imaging features with a five megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss optics and duel LED flash, as well as support for Nokia Messaging and instant messaging.

The Nokia 7230 is a compact, stylish slider that offers a solid feature set. The device has a 3.2 megapixel camera, large 2.4” display, quick access to Nokia Messaging and instant messaging and a 2GB memory card.

Both handsets feature high speed 3G connectivity enabling quick access to social networks and the ability to connect with friends and family on the go.

The Nokia 6700 and the Nokia 7230 will be available in New Zealand in the first quarter of 2010. Local pricing has not yet been confirmed.
