Chch Hotel Guests' Chance for Charitable New Year

“Grand Gesture” Benefits Charity

Christchurch Hotel Gives Guests the Chance to Have a Charitable New Year

The Hotel Grand Chancellor Christchurch is making a “Grand Gesture” this holiday season – stay with them in January and you can be part of their spirit of giving.

Exclusively at www.whatshot.christchurchnz.com , New Zealanders booking January accommodation in Christchurch will find 10 “Grand Gesture” rooms available at the Garden City’s Hotel Grand Chancellor, on select dates.

Guests are given the opportunity to name their own price – the HGC then donates 50% of the amount to their chosen charity, the Foundation for Youth Development.

“At this time of year, many holidaymakers do think of those less fortunate,” says HGC Sales Director Chris Foubister. “This is a simple way to think of others, when booking your own night in Christchurch City.” Christchurch’s fourstar Hotel Grand Chancellor is conveniently located in the CBD, within strolling distance of key city attractions such as the Arts Centre, Cathedral Square, Canterbury Museum, the Botanic Gardens, Avon River and SOL Square. It is the tallest building in Christchurch, and with 26 floors all rooms are quiet and spacious with sweeping city views, across the Canterbury plains to the spectacular Southern Alps.

From the 6th of January, watch whatshot.christchurchnz.com/grandgesture.html every day as “Grand Gesture” rooms become available, for accommodation for two people in a standard room on the following dates: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 22 January 2010 (Conditions apply)
