Dell Increases Investment In New Zealand

·        Simms International becomes Dell’s distribution partner in NZ

 
AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 2 February, 2010: Dell today announced Simms International, a leading distributor and supplier of IT products and accessories to the corporate and reseller channels, as its distribution partner for Small and Medium Business (SMB) partners and customers in New Zealand.

The New Zealand distribution deal is part of Dell’s global strategy, and builds on distribution partnerships that have already been established in countries such as India, China and Thailand. Customers benefit from Dell and Simms International’s combined experience in creating, combining and enhancing technology to deliver best long-term value.

Simms International, which launched its New Zealand operation in mid-January, will stock the complete Vostro range of products as well as a range of servers, and peripherals such as projectors and laser printers. In addition the company will have access to Dell storage and networking products.
