Today, leading technology finance company Equico has launched Equico Escape – an incentive programme for its technology reseller partners.

Resellers who register for the programme earn points with the aim of reaching a point threshold and securing an all-expenses paid holiday to Hawaii.

“The programme is open to all Equico resellers and is designed to reward those individuals that make a significant contribution to our business,” says Equico general manager, Ross Fodie.

“The incentive programme is an integral part of ensuring Equico is at the forefront of reseller conversations with clients. We want to demonstrate the real value Equico brings to the sales process, by offering smart and flexible solutions that help IT vendors and resellers sell more products and services, and grow their businesses,” Mr Fodie says.

Resellers are accustomed to hardware vendors running incentives, but this is the first time a finance partner has introduced this type of programme.

“What this means for individual resellers, for example, is that one hardware sale made through Equico leasing may contribute to the reseller earning more than one reward,” says Mr Fodie.

Beyond sales, the programme also rewards resellers for involving Equico experts in the sales process or by utilising Equico tools. Resellers can also earn points by generating quotes using Equico Real-Time Quote, a new online quoting system that speeds up the application process by eliminating paper waste and allowing real-time access to Equico representatives.

While the programme is designed to offer a challenge to resellers, Mr Fodie is confident individuals who regularly provide their clients with Equico leasing options will find it easy to qualify for the trip.
