Netapp Positioned in Leaders Quadrant in Top Analyst Firm’s Midrange and High-End NAS Solutions Magic Quadrant

Auckland, NEW ZEALAND – 7 April 2010 – NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced that Gartner, Inc. positioned NetApp in the Leaders quadrant for Midrange and High-End NAS Solutions1. In a recently released research report, "Magic Quadrant for Midrange and High-End NAS Solutions," Gartner asserts, "Vendors in the Leaders quadrant have the highest scores for their ability to execute and completeness of vision. A midrange and high-end NAS vendor in the Leaders quadrant has the market share, credibility, and marketing and sales capabilities needed to drive the acceptance of new technologies.
